Amazing invention. Love edelkrone’s philosophy.
The screw mount didn't stay attached to the bottom of my camera. Especially when I tried to use it in combination with the Stand One also from Edelkrone. When I would twist the camera, even after I tightened up the Quick Release One with the coin trick they show, it would become loose on the bottom of my camera after only a minute of adjusting where the camera was pointing. I would take it on and off my regular tripod only a couple of times and it would become loose and jiggly again. When I contacted Edelkrone through customer support to try and get a refund and return it (they don't provide a phone number for some reason, I tried to find one) they emailed me back this link to write a review, but haven't done anything about returning it yet. I might update this if their customer service comes through, but so far I'm even more disappointed with their customer support than I am with the product.
Overall, very good experience. Takes a minute to get used to, but once learned, it's truly a nice feature.
Good product but could be improved if it were conceived as a system
Purchased this product and I haven’t been able to use it. The product itself is fine but he functionality is a little waning. Trying to make it work but I just put it back in the box. Well made but not as useful as I originally thought.
Works like magic, need a little practices to use this.
el material es bueno , aunque no esta simple de utilizar como se muestra en el vídeo creo que el gancho que enrosca debería girar al sentido contrario, ya que al girar en el mismo sentido se afloja la cámara superior
Doesn’t really work
First off, this thing, like many Edelkrone products, is grotesquely over priced. It works, and I like using it but I'm only giving it two stars because it has some rather obvious design flaws. 1) You have to use a quarter to tighten it onto your camera—why not just give us a fold out handle to twist??? 2) It comes loose a little too often, then you have to get the damn quarter out again. 3) It's pretty much dependent on there being a fixed screw on the device you're connecting it to, so it's not quite as fluid with my gimbal. BUT, it's still easier than without it. 4) It's nice and solid, but I kind of wish it wasn't as heavy as it is, it makes it more difficult to balance the gimbal—and it adds weight to my pack. Nevertheless, I'm still glad to have it, it's just frustrating that Edelkrone wants top dollar for something that was only partially thought through.
